Vacancy of Junior Assistant post under the establishment of the Deputy Commissioner's office Kamrup, Amingaon, Assam

Deputy Commissioner, Kamrup, Amingaon invites application from the intending candidates for filling up of the following posts: The application should be submitted in the Standard Form as published in Assam Gazette in Part-IX and reach the office of the undersigned on or before 10/07/2013 upto 5.00 PM.


1. Name of the post: Junior Assistant
No. of vacancy: 15 (fifteen) nos.(ST(H)-1, OBC/MOBC-7, U/R-7)
Educational & other Qualification:
(A)  Must have passed HSLC Examination or an equivalent examination from recognized University or Board.
(B) Diploma in type writing both English & Assamese.
(C) Preference will be given to the diploma/certificate holder from a Govt. recognized Computer Institute.
Scale of Pay: Rs.5200-20,200/- Grade Pay Rs.2000/- (PB-2) per month plus other allowances as admissible as per rules.

Candidates must be an Indian citizen as defined in articles 5 to 8 of the constitution of India.

The Candidates must have registered their names in the Employment Exchange and the registration numbers along with the dates must be mentioned in their applications.

Candidates already in service should apply through proper channel.

Candidates must not be less than 18 Years or more than 38 years of Age on 1.1.2013. The upper age is relaxable by 5 years in case of the candidates of SC/ST and Persons with Disabilities.

The application must be accompanied by the following
(a) Attested copies of all certificates of educational and other qualifications, age, caste alongwith other testimonials.
(b) Two copies of recent passport size photographs duly attested by Gazetted Officer.
(c) The applications will enclose a self addressed envelope affixing Postal Stamp of Rs.5/- alongwith the application.

Candidate who desires to be considered on grounds of having rendered service/still rendering service in this office may apply as per norms, and submit their documents showing of having worked/ still working in casual/wages basis alongwith their application.

The candidates will have to appear in a written test, and those who pass the written test will have to appear for an oral interview and Type-writing and Computer test.

Application and other documents should be put inside an envelope, on which the applicant should clearly mention the post applied for.

The selected candidates will submit an undertaking to the appointing authority that they will abide by the New pension Rules of the Govt. issued vide Finance Department's letter No.BW-3/03/Pt-II/1, dated 25/1/05.

The undersigned and incomplete applications and the application submitted after the schedule date will not be accepted.
