Qualifications and other Conditions:
a. Retired Class I Officer from the State Govt./Central Govt./PSU with minimum 15 years of Administrative experience in any department or in any organization, especially in the matters of public relations, liaisoning, establishment, finance and accounts, general office management. He should be energetic and possess fluency in English, Hindi, and Assamese.
OR
b. MBA (HR/ Personnel management) from recognized University on regular basis with minimum 5 years’ experience especially in the matters of public relations, liaisoning, establishment, finance and accounts, general office management. He should be energetic and possess fluency in English, Hindi, and Assamese.
Desirable: Computer knowledge specially in MS office packages.

Master Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science or and equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale) and consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerisation of Library and KOHA library package
Desirable: Qualified in NET/SLET approved by UGC. Person with previous experience will be preferred.
