Director, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department, Assam invites application from Indian Citizens for the following posts of Junior Assistant in Standard Form of application.

Category A:
Total posts: 28 Nos.
Scale of pay: PB-2 Rs.5,200 to Rs.20,200 pm + Grade Pay Rs.2,400/-
(N.B. 30% of posts will be filled up from women candidates subject to availability of candidates in each category)
Age: 18 to 38 years as on 01-01-2013. (5 years relaxation of age to SC & ST candidates & 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates will be allowed).
Qualification: Minimum educational qualification is HSSLC passed in Arts/Science/Commerce and equivalent discipline with 45% of marks having typewriting certificate both in Assamese and English with minimum 30 and 48 wpm respectively. Knowledge in computer is preferable.
1. The candidates are to appear in written test when called for.
2. On the basis of the merit in the written test, selected candidates will be called for viva-voce and word processing test.
Category B:

Common terms and condition for Category A and Category B candidates are:-
1. The applicant must enclosed a self-addressed envelope affixing a postal stamp of Rs.5/-
2. 2(two) copies of recent passport size photograph alongwith the application.
3. Photocopy of updated Employment Exchange registration certificate must be enclosed with the application.
4. Application should be addressed to the Director, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department, Assam, Chenikuthi, Guwahati-03.
5. Caste certificate from the Competent Authority should be submitted alongwith the application.
6. No TA/DA will be admissible.
7. Candidates applying for both the category have to submit separate application.
8. The candidates should indicate the category of post applied on the top of the envelope.
9. The application must enclose all attested copies of relevant testimonials.
