Assam Public Service Commission invites applications from Indian Citizens for the under-mentioned posts under Assam Government in the scale of pay as indicated against each carrying usual allowances as admissible under rules of the Govt. of Assam
1. 5(Five) Posts of Junior Engineer (Agriculture) under Agriculture Deptt.
Reservation: STP-3 (1 for women), OBC/MOBC-1, Unreserved-1
Scale of pay: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- (PB-2) with Grade Pay of 3300/- P.M. plus other allowances as admissible under the Rules.
Age: 18 years to 38 years as on 1st January, 2013. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5(five) years in case of SC/ST candidates.
Educational Qualification: 3(three) years Engineering Diploma holder in Agricultural Engineering or Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from any recognized Institutions. Preference will be given to the Agricultural Engineering Diploma holders.
Last date of submission of application form is 5th June, 2013.
2. 4(Five) Posts of Director of Elementary/SCERT/Secondary/Higher Education Assam.
Scale of Pay: Rs.12000/- to Rs.40000/- PB-4 plus Grade pay of Rs.7600/-
Age: Maximum limit is 50 years as on 1st January of the year of advertisment
Educational Qualification: First Class or High Second Class Master Degree in Arts/Science/ Commerce from any recognized Indian University or its equivalent and atleast 10 years teaching experience with atleast 5 years administrative experience.
Members of Assam Education Service having minimum 5 years administrative experience will be eligible to apply for the post provided they are within the prescribed age limit.
