Animal Husbandry & Vety. Deptt., Assam, Guwahati-3 invites applications from intending eligible candidates in standard form as per part IX of the Assam Gazette for the following temporary post in the Directorate of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary:
Name of the post:
1) Veterinary Field Assistant (backlog) (ST(P)-12, ST(H)-9)
2) Veterinary Assistant (Current) (Gen-38, ST(P)-7, SC-5, ST(H)-4, OBC-20)
Total No. of post = 95 (ninety five)
Scale of pay: Rs.5200-20200/- and grade pay of Rs.2100/- plus other allowances as admissible from time to time.
Eligibility Criteria:
1) Age: 18-38 years as on 01.01.2013. Relaxable upto (i) 5 years to SC/ST candidates and (ii) 3 years for OBC and (iii) as per rule for in service candidates.
2) Academic Qualification: The candidate for direct recruitment shall have to pass the examination in elementary knowledge of Veterinary Science from the recognized "School of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science" established by the Govt. of Assam at Ghungoor Silchar or Khanapara, Guwahati and having HSLC Examination as the basic qualification.
Scale of pay: Rs.5200-20200/- and grade pay of Rs.2100/- plus other allowances as admissible from time to time.
