Govt. of India, Ministry of Defence, HQ MIRC, Ahmadnagar (MH)-414110 invites applications in the prescribed Proforma from the persons (Indian Nationals) for filling up the direct recruitment Group 'C' vacancies at Headquarters.
1. Name of the post: Cook
No. of vacancies: 07 (Gen-01, OBC-04 *OBC-02 *Reserve for Ex-serviceman)
Scale of pay: PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.19/- and other allowances
Qualification:
(i) Matriculation or equivalent examination of recognized Board or University.
(ii) Must have knowledge of Indian Cooking and proficiency in trade.
2. Name of the post: LDC
No. of vacancies: 01 (OBC-01)
Scale of pay: PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.1900/- and other allowances
Qualification:
(i) Std. 12th passed or equivalent examination of recognized Board or University.
(ii) Must have a speed of 35 words per minute in English Typing or 30 words per minute in Hindi Typing on Computer.
3. Name of the post: Civil Motor Driver Ordinary Grade
No. of vacancies: 01 (*01-Gen *Reserved for Ex serviceman)
Scale of pay: PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.1900/- and other allowances
Qualification:
(i) Matriculation or equivalent from recognized Board.
(ii) Must possess the civilian driving license for heavy vehicle and have two years experience of driving such vehicles.

Qualification:
(i) Essential: Matriculation or equivalent examination of recognized Board

8. Name of the post: Chowkidar (Multitasking staff)

Qualification:
(i) Essential: Matriculation or equivalent examination of recognized Board
(ii) Desirable: Conversant with the duties of Chowkidar with one year's experience in the trade

Age Limit:
(a) For General candidates - 18 years to 25 years
(b) For OBC candidates - 18 to 28 years
(c) For ST candidates - 18 to 30 years
(d) For Ex-servicemen (General candidates) - 03 years relaxation after deduction of the military service rendered from actual age as on the crucial date.
(e) For Ex-Serviceman (OBC candidates) - 06 Years relaxation (3 Years + 3 Years) after deduction of the miliary service rendered from actual age as on completion of skill Test.
(f) Age limit relaxable for Govt servants as under:-
(i) For the post of Cook, LDC, Civ Motor Dvr -upto 40 years
(ii) For the of Washerman, Gardener, Messenger, Saifaiwala, Chowkidar - upto 35 years.

ST/OBC candidates who apply against unreserved post will not be given any concession of reserved category, as they will be considered in the Un-reserved category.
