Gauhati Medical College, Guwahati invites application from eligible candidates for below mentioned posts under Dept. of Biotechnology(DBT), Govt. of India, funded project titled "Adult Community acquired pneumonia: A study on prevalence, drug resistance and pathogen molecular characterization" in the Department of Microbiology, Gauhati Medical College.
1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) - one
Candidates possessing M.Sc./M.Tech in Biotechnology/ Microbiology/Life Sciences may apply. Those having NET/GATE will be given preference. (Monthly emolument @ Rs.16000/- + HRA for NET/GATE qualified candidates.)
2. Laboratory Technician -Two
Candidate possessing Government of Assam recognized qualification (Certificate course or DMLT) only may apply. Candidates with experience in bacteriology work will be given preference. (Monthly emolument @ Rs.10665 fixed).
It is to be note that both these posts are purely temporary under DBT funded research project not Government Jobs in any way.
