As per Advt. No.:NITMGH/REC/N-F/2013/1 Dated 28.5.2013 National Institute of Technology Meghalaya invites applications from eligible candidates of Indian nationals, for appointment to the various positions listed below on permanent/contract basis:

1. Name of the post: Superintendent

Qualification & Experience: 

(i) Bachelor’s Degree with First Class (Hons.) or equivalent grade Or, Master’s Degree with excellent academic record.
(ii) Knowledge in use of Office Automation Software.

Pay: PB2 (Rs.9,300/- to 34,800/-) with GP of`4200/-

2. Name of the post: Technical Assistant (Civil/Mechanical)

Qualification & Experience: 

First Class Diploma in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical) of 3 Yrs. duration plus 2 Yrs. relevant experience Or, First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil/ Mechanical)

Pay: PB2 (Rs.9,300/- to 34,800/-) with GP of`4200/-

Upper Age limit: 30 years

3. Name of the post: Technical Assistant (Chemistry) (on Contract)

Qualification & Experience: 

First Class Bachelors Degree in Chemistry with 2 Yrs. relevant experience Or, Master’s Degree in Chemistry

Pay: Consolidated pay in the range of 10,000/- to 12,000/- depending on qualification

4. Name of the post: Technician (ECE/EEE/CSE)

Qualification & Experience: 

3 Yrs. Diploma in Engineering (Electronics/ Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Computer/ IT) Or, 3 Yrs. Bachelor’s Degree (Electronics/ Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Computer/ IT) Or, ITI certificate of 2 Yrs. duration in Electronics/ Wireman/ Computer Trade and Class 10 pass with at least 60%.

Pay: PB1 (Rs.5,200/- to 20,000/-) with GP of` 2000/-

Upper Age limit: 27 years

5. Name of the post: Junior Assistant

Qualification & Experience: 

Bachelor’s degree and proficiency in use of Office Automation Software.

Pay: PB1 (5,200/- to 20,000/- ) with GP of`2000/-

Upper Age limit: 27 years

No. of Vacancy: 4

6. Name of the post: Multitasking Staff

Qualification & Experience: 

ITI certificate of 2 years duration in Electronics/ Wireman/ Fitter/ Welder/ Machine Operator/ Computer Trade and Class 10 pass with at least 45%

Pay: PB1 (5,200/- to 20,000/- ) with GP of`1800/-

Upper Age limit: 27 years

No. of Vacancy: 2
