As per ADVERTISEMENT No. 01/2013, applications are invited for filling up the following post on direct recruitment in the Office of the Director,North Eastern Region Farm Machinery Training & Testing Institute, Biswanath Chariali, Sonitpur (Assam)
Name of the post: Senior Technical Assistant, GCS, Group ‘C’-Non Gazetted, Technical
a) No. of post Category: 1 (One), year mark for OBC as Backlog vacancy.
b) Scale of pay: Pay Band PB1-Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2800.00
c) Whether selection or non-selection post: Selection
Age: 18-30 Years, (Relaxable for Govt. Servants in accordance with instructions or orders issued by the Central Government)
Educational Qualification: Degree in Agricultural Engineering from a recognized University or its equivalent. Or
Diploma in Agricultural Engineering with two years experience in the relevant field.

General terms and conditions of service:
1. The post is temporary but likely to be continued indefinitely. The post is covered under “Defined Contribution Pension Scheme”
2. Interested ppersons working in Central Govt. /State Govt./PSU/Autonomous Body should apply through proper channel along with Certificate from their employer that neither any disciplinary case is pending nor contemplated against him. Otherwise application will not be considered.
3. Age relaxation will be allowed to SC/ST/PH/OBC and Govt servant as per Central Govt. Rules in force.
