Application are invites from Indian Citizens, in Standard Form as published in the Assam Gazette in Part IX to fill up 1 (one) post of Grade IV in the office of the Governor's Secretariat, Raj Bhavan, Assam, Guwahati, in the scale of pay plus other allowances as admissible under the rules shown below.
1. Name of the post: Masalchi (Grade-IV)
Qualification: Class-VIII pass
Scale of Pay: Pay Band Rs.4530-15000/- with Grade Pay of Rs.1500 pm plus other allowances as admissible as per rules.
No. of post: 1 (Unreserved)
Age: 18-38 years as on 01.01.2013 (i.e. should have been born between 01.01.1975 and 31.12.1994 both days inclusive). Upper age relaxation of 5(five) years will be given as per existing rules for the reserved category candidates (i.e. should have been born between 01.01.1970 and 31.12.1994 both days inclusive).
Enclosures:
1. Applications must accompany self attested copies of all relevant documents/ testimonials in support of their educational qualification, caste, & age proof certificate etc.
2. 1(one) copy of recent passport size colour photography duly attested to be pasted (not stapled) on the right top corner of the application.
3. An empty self addressed envelope of 5 cm X 11 cm affixing postal stamp of Rs.5 (five) only to sen the call letter.
Applicants must indicate prominently the name of the post applied for on the top of the envelope containing the application.

Application should reach at the address given above on or before 31st May 2013, or it may be submitted in the application BOX (if submitted by hand) kept for the purpose at the main Security Gate of Raj Bhavan, Assam. No Application shall be entertained after the last date of receipt i.e. 31.05.2013. Applicants should also write their contact numbers (mobile/land number) in the application form.
Interview (oral) date , time & venue will be communicated to all eligible candidates through call letter/News paper in due course of time.
Incomplete application will be summarily rejected without giving any intimation.
No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the Interview.
The selected candidate will submit an undertaking to the appointing authority that they will abide by the new pension rules (NPS) of the Govt issued vide Finance Dept letter No.BW-3/2003/Pt-II/1 dtd.25.01.2005
