Director, Secondary Education, Assam invites applications from Indian Citizen in Standard Form of application as published in part IX of the Assam Gazette for the following vacant post under the Education (Secondary), Department, Government of Assam for appointment in Office of the Inspector of Schools, KDC, Karimganj and Office of the Inspector of Schools, CDC, Silchar.
1. Name of the post: Driver
No. of post: 2 (two) (Unreserved Category)
Scale of pay: 5200 to 20200 + Grade Pay Rs.1900 & other allowances
Qualification: Read upto class X with valid driving licence in 4 wheeler
Age: 21-38 years as on 1st January, 2013. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for the ST and SC candidates
Application fees: Rs.100/- for General Category Rs.50/- for others. The application fees are to be deposited by Treasury Challan under the Head of Accounts "0070-Other Administrative Services"
How to apply:
The candidate should submit the application in the Standard Form published in the Assam Gazette: Part IX alongwith 2(two) copies of recent passport size photographs; one of which should be pasted on the application. The name of post should be clearly mentioned on the envelop. The application should be addressed to the Director of Secondary Education, Assam Kahilipara, Guwahati-19. The applicant should mention clearly the name of the District belongs to in the envelop.
The application should accompany attested copy of Driving license.
The candidate should submit the copies of certificate attested by a Gazetted Officer with all relevant supporting documents.
A self addressed envelop pasted with Five Rupees Postal Stamp is to be submitted alongwith application.
